Faculty of Law Open Day

The Faculty will be holding an annual Open Day on 3 July 2024 for anyone thinking of applying for the BA Law degree.

At the Open Day, potential applicants will get an opportunity to hear about life at the Faculty, consider what studying Law at Cambridge might be like, meet staff, students and alumni, and ask any questions they might have.

The Open Day is also an opportunity to have a look around the Faculty, and the wider City of Cambridge.

Our Open Day is split into identical morning and afternoon sessions, which you can choose between:

Morning Session

Registration begins at 9am, and the event begins at 10am. Proceedings end at 12:25pm.

Tea/Coffee and light refreshments

Available 12:30-1:30pm for attendees of both sessions. All students and parents/guardians attending either the morning or afternoon sessions are invited to join us, which will provide the opportunity to meet various academic staff, current Law students, and representatives from the various Cambridge colleges. Lunch can be purchased from cafes onsite, or in Cambridge city.

Afternoon Session

Registration is available from 1pm, and the event begins at 2pm. Proceedings end at 4:25pm.

A detailed timetable will be circulated to registrants, and posted on our website, nearer the event.

The general University of Cambridge Open Days will be held on 4 and 5 July this year. Sometimes applicants might find it helpful to attend the Law open day at the Faculty on 3 July, and then the University open day to explore the colleges and the city on the following day.

University Open Days

University Open Days are aimed at prospective applicants in Year 12 (or equivalent) and prospective mature applicants (aged 21 or over), together with any parents or supporters. Attendees get the opportunity to explore our University and colleges and gain insight into what it is like to be a student at the University of Cambridge.

The next University Open Days will take place 4-5 July, and online registration will be available at the end of April 2024 on the University’s website.
